Catching Up!! As of 2-15-10

This is just a post about my life for the past week, in case you wanted to know. :)

I got my haircut yesterday, Valentine's Day. I got a lot cut off, like six inches or something. Now my hair falls just below my shoulders. I really like it.

I bought a new dress. Its black and super cute!! I'm wearing it right now.

I painted my nails with the color "Ruby Stilettos" by Sally Hansen. Its like "Ruby Pumps" by China Glaze, but a little lighter.

I started a new workout plan. Everything is going good so far, but I've only been doing it for a few days, so I'll keep you updated.

And, that's it. This week was really boring but I have February Vacation this week so hopefully my next Catching Up post will be a lot more exciting. All right.. Bye!

Music

Listening to music is, for me anyway, the best thing in the world. I listen to all types and genres, never getting bored. Like, as I'm typing this I'm listening to Tim McGraw by Taylor Swift. I remember when I first heard it and where I was. (the 8th grade, I was flipping through stations on the TV and her video came on. I fell in love with it.)

Music tells a story, sometimes pointless, stupid, nonsense stories, but stories all the same. Seriously, pick a song, Any song and listen to it, really listen to it. The words, the music carry you somewhere, anywhere. When I'm listening to a song that I know and love (or even hate) I see either the music video, my own version of music video, or even me on stage rocking out to the song.. stop laughing.

There's no right or wrong in music, no matter what some people might say. Just because you like a song or an artist doesn't really have anything to do with you. I like Hilary Duff, but also Lil Wayne. (WHAT?!) If you like it then there shouldn't be a problem.

I think people get criticized/made fun of/stereotyped for whatever music they like, which is just wrong. You should like whatever music you want without anyone saying anything negative about it.

I don't know. I guess I'm done with this post now. :)
