PROM!! (3-16-10)

There were a few wicked adorable incidents regarding prom that happened today!! First, the boyfriend of a girl I go to school with sent flowers to her and asked her to go to prom with her! So cute!! Then, (I saw this one firsthand), this one guy in my physics class wrote on the whiteboard in giant letters "PROM" only he didn't have enough room for the question mark so he wrote it on a piece of paper and held it as the girl he was asking walked into the room. And then another guy in my physics class set up a plan to ask a girl during class. It was just really exciting/cute/adorable! :)
Even though I haven't been asked (yet..!) all this prom stuff has made me really excited and happy. CAN'T WAIT!!!

83 Days!! (3-16-10)

83 days until I get to see Taylor Swift preform live!!!! It's a long time, but these 12 weeks are going to fly by, I'm sure of it. I can't wait to post pictures of the concert and everything. SO EXCITED!!

Catching Up!! As of 2-15-10

This is just a post about my life for the past week, in case you wanted to know. :)

I got my haircut yesterday, Valentine's Day. I got a lot cut off, like six inches or something. Now my hair falls just below my shoulders. I really like it.

I bought a new dress. Its black and super cute!! I'm wearing it right now.

I painted my nails with the color "Ruby Stilettos" by Sally Hansen. Its like "Ruby Pumps" by China Glaze, but a little lighter.

I started a new workout plan. Everything is going good so far, but I've only been doing it for a few days, so I'll keep you updated.

And, that's it. This week was really boring but I have February Vacation this week so hopefully my next Catching Up post will be a lot more exciting. All right.. Bye!

Music

Listening to music is, for me anyway, the best thing in the world. I listen to all types and genres, never getting bored. Like, as I'm typing this I'm listening to Tim McGraw by Taylor Swift. I remember when I first heard it and where I was. (the 8th grade, I was flipping through stations on the TV and her video came on. I fell in love with it.)

Music tells a story, sometimes pointless, stupid, nonsense stories, but stories all the same. Seriously, pick a song, Any song and listen to it, really listen to it. The words, the music carry you somewhere, anywhere. When I'm listening to a song that I know and love (or even hate) I see either the music video, my own version of music video, or even me on stage rocking out to the song.. stop laughing.

There's no right or wrong in music, no matter what some people might say. Just because you like a song or an artist doesn't really have anything to do with you. I like Hilary Duff, but also Lil Wayne. (WHAT?!) If you like it then there shouldn't be a problem.

I think people get criticized/made fun of/stereotyped for whatever music they like, which is just wrong. You should like whatever music you want without anyone saying anything negative about it.

I don't know. I guess I'm done with this post now. :)

learning post #1

So, I've never really done this, so just please bear with me. No one will probably read this AT ALL, but that's okay. I just wanted a place where I could document some things/events in my life as I'm growing up.

Recently, I learned what writing a paper the night before can do to me. Usually, I write a paper in a notebook or somewhere and do one or two more drafts and then type it up. This time though, I wrote it all the night before without doing any other drafts. This particular paper doesn't count for a grade or anything, but I still have a headache from it.

I really envy people who can just write something once and it comes out great. I seriously wish I could do that. I think it would be so liberating to just sit down for an hour and get it done; not sitting down for three hours trying to write one sentence. English is the only subject I've ever been remotely good at. When I mess up like I did the other day, it really takes a toll on me.

So, whatever. Reading that I realize how boring it really is. But the best part of life is the learning part, right? Maybe things will pick up as my life goes on. The only way to find out is to keep reading.. so please please please, stay tuned? Alright.
